This privacy statement outlines the data processing activities of The Refined Polish, located in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. As the Controller, we are responsible for the processing of your personal data in compliance with the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG/GDPR).
II. Infrastructure & Data Residency
We utilize a split-infrastructure model to maximize security. Newsletter & Web Data is stored locally in Amsterdam on the secure infrastructure of Mijn.host.
Correspondence Data (Inquiries) is securely relayed via our Amsterdam infrastructure to the zero-access vault of Proton AG in Geneva (CH).
III. Security Measures (Sovereign)
We employ a "Zero-Knowledge" architecture. All data is subject to Client-Side Encryption before leaving your device.
For Web Data, we utilize Post-Quantum Encryption (Kyber-768) to ensure long-term resistance against decryption threats, compliant with NCSC-NL advice.
IV. Data Collection & Purpose
We process your email address strictly for the purpose of sending newsletters or responding to inquiries based on explicit consent (Art. 6.1.a AVG).

We adhere to a strict no-tracking policy. No Google Analytics. No Facebook Pixels. Your browsing behavior is private.

I. Radical Purity
"The Refined Polish" defines a new standard in botanical fragrance. We reject "trade secrets" in favor of transparency.
II. The Ingredient Standard
- 100% Essential Oils: Categorized by extraction method (Steam Distillation, CO2 Extraction).
- Endocrine-Safe: Rigorously screened to be free of hormone disruptors, phthalates, and synthetic fixatives.
- No "Parfum": We reject the regulatory loophole of listing "Fragrance" to hide undeclared chemicals.
III. Production Ethics
Every bottle is formulated, blended, and bottled by hand in our Amsterdam atelier (NL).
